Three Wigan Select Cricket Squads were this week put through their paces by Leigh ABC Head Coach Adrian Fleming as part of a joint initiative with Wigan Sports Development. Head Cricket Coach Tim McKiernan organised Boxing Training sessions at Lowton High School and Robin Park, to show the young cricketers the benefits of footwork, core strength and fitness levels in Amateur Boxing.

Monday evening saw the Under 11's Squad and the Under 13's Squad at Lowton High School learning the basic boxing moves alongside an energetic workout. On Tuesday evening members of Leigh ABC joined the Under 15's Squad for a boxing workout.
